This is the crux of the problem with the verification clause in the Iran Nuclear WMD Deal.

In a nutshell:

“Can I check your suspected site for dangerous nuclear WMD?”

“No!”

“Ok, I’ll come back in 24 days.”

“Great, thank you–have a nice day.”
