Israel and Our Forefathers

Wow, a friend sent this to me from FaceBook.

It shows that the Hebrew word for Israel is actually made up of the first letters of all the names of our forefathers and mothers:

Isaac – יצחק

Jacob – יעקב

Sarah – שרה

Rebecca – רבקה

Rachel – רחל

Abraham – אברהם

Leah – לאה

Like the Bible says, we are truly the “children of Israel” (ישראל)!  😉
