Is Beer A Color?

So thought this was an interestingly funny flip chart.ย

It’s titled “Colors”.

And it has the typical ones you’d expect: blue, red, green, yellow, orange, purple, black, white, grey, brown, and tan.ย

But thrown into the mix is beer (and Summer)–maybe these go together!ย

Perhaps, someone had a little too much beer when asked about colors.

On second thought, maybe beer is a color.ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

An Alarm Clock – My Gag Gift

So we had our holiday party today, and guess what I got?

Yes, a Sharp Twin Bell Alarm Clock!

Of course, with each gag gift came a mini-speech by some of the managers as why they choose this gift for you.

So of course, I amย consistentlyย the first one in every morning and the person who opens up for everyone else–reliable, dependable, and hard-working Andy! ๐Ÿ™‚

Some of my other colleagues got a hula hoop, a toy toolkit, a mini teapot, a little school bus, coffee mugs with funny sayings, a rock and roll trophy, mini boxing gloves, stuffed pillows with smileys, and more.ย

Each came with its own unique story.

Pizza, beer, and bowling were part of the festivities.ย

It’s nice when people appreciate each other and can have some fun.ย

Thanks for the holiday party and the alarm clock.ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Shakshuka Feast

Just wanted to thank my daughter and son-in-law for a wonderful Shakshuka dinner last night.ย

This was topped off with Israeli salad, hot bread, and fresh tihini sauce.

To drink was some rich and foamy Israeli beer, wine, and soft drinks.ย

A Moroccan feast fit for a king!

It was lovely to see how the kids have grown and are able to frankly outdo their parents (-in-laws) on cooking up a real “delicious” storm. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thirsty And Hungry

Moms Drink2
I took this photo today of this funny banner hanging out a thoroughfare window in Washington, D.C.

This big 6 feet banner says “Moms Drink For Free.”

So not sure, is it a special running at the local bar for the holidays or a wish by a bunch of mom’s looking to get toasted?

Now, look carefully to the right, and you can see in the next window the messaging continues and it says “+ Send 1 Pizza.”

So these “moms” are not only thirty but apparently hungry too–they want pizza and brew!

Not sure to what happened to “moms” just being normal mothers and good role models, and not hanging their menu cravings out the window in downtown. ๐Ÿ˜‰
