Boots Of Many Colors

Similar to Joseph and The Technicolor Dreamcoat, these boots come in a virtual rainbow of colors.

Honestly, not sure who would actually wear something like these.

I think them gaudy except as a sweeping fashion statement by someone fairly spectacular who could carry it off.

Perhaps another show featuring the dancing Rockettes, doing the long row of eye-high kicks could be quite a sight in a managerie of these colorful boots rising and falling.

Kick 1-2-3.  Higher and higher.  Red, yellow, and blue.  😉

Stained Glass Majesty

There is something about stained glass which is so beautiful and amazing.

It’s not only artistic and colorful, but also it’s a magical combination of opaqueness and translucence.

It provides cover and privacy from the outside world, yet it plays with the light that comes in through it to give a wonderful effect to any room.

If I could, I would make every room in every building with stained glass.

I would bask in the light and the color.

It would feel warm and holy–the light of G-d on me.

It’s as if G-d and His holy host are streaming in from the Heavens, and surrounding me all about.

I feel lifted up in space and time stops, all is safe and wonderful in the world.

Beautiful and holy spiritual energy celebrating, dancing, and singing all around me. 😉

Does Color Make The Man?

Thought these were some mighty bold and colorful Men’s shoes.

I personally like color and making a little bit of a a statement.

In a sense, color makes the man happy, exciting, alive, and uplifting.

With these shoes, I suppose if your going dancing or a splendid night out on the town these may work.

So there is a time and place for everything.

Day-to-day, these shoes are a little out there, and more than a little scary, and too much for my sense of tasteful design.  😉

Indian Wedding Rocks

Loved seeing this amazing Indian wedding.

The rocking music, the beautiful colorful outfits, the pageantry, and the adorned white horse.

While this looked like a relatively small and intimate wedding–perhaps quality balances out quantity.

Although one of my good friends from India told me that he had 4,000!!! people at his wedding that was held in a stadium–I can barely even imagine how awesome that was.

So happy…all life should be great times like this. 😉

Improving The Lot and Lives Of Women

I saw this women dancing openly on top of this boat moored to the docks in Florida.

I don’t know why she was doing this (simply entertainment?) and whether this was completely out of her free choice (or at all coerced), especially while these 2 guys on board apparently leered and even recorded her.

But it made me think that we definitely need to better respect and improve the lot and lives of women in society.

Yes, beauty is something to be appreciated, but there is also something to be said for modesty and showing proper respect.

Further, while people can be physically attractive, they are not just objects, but rather complex, thoughtful, and productive wonderful human beings.

Each person is a whole world and they bring that to the table of life.

There is much to admire, but women (and men) need to provided every opportunity to break through the glass ceiling and not just dance on it. 😉

Awesome Drumbeat of Life

drumdrum2

Just thought this was such an awesome drum.

On the top of the drum was a painting of a drummer.

And on the side was a picture of a beautiful lady dancing.

It was so simple, yet so eloquently done.

There is something amazing when you can literally feel the art come so alive.

Almost like seeing and feeling the vision of the artist as if looking directly through his eyes.

Our experience her on earth is that of our soul moving and acting in a surreal physical world.

But in so interacting, we leave behind and impact this world with artifacts, and deeds to others, that last beyond ourselves and the moment.

What a wonderful world G-d has placed us in to experience his wonders and to learn and grow.

I can feel the drumming of my heart and the dancing of my feet all along the way.

And even though I don’t comprehend everything I am experiencing or the decisions that I must make, in it contains not only deep intrigue, but also genuine surprise and challenge, and ultimately meaning, every step  along the marvelous path of G-d’s garden.

Larry The Lobster Is All Wound Up

While Dossy was getting a haircut today, Minna and I went into the Hobby Store.

We wound up Larry The Lobster here and let him go wild.

You can enjoy his crazy dancing and waving.

It was nice to have a day off together and fun for us to take this short video.
