Dog Eyes and Knows

Something very cute about this dog and how he’s looking.

Almost seems like there is a person inside there.

See the twinkle and knowing in his eye.

Makes me wonder whether dogs (and other animals) were once people who have been reincarnated.

Is a dog and a person soul both the same (or how are they different)?

I am sure that there is divine justice (or Comedy) in coming back and in so many different ways and forms.

This dog knows something for sure. 😉

The Beauty of Words

Please see my new article in The Times of Israel called, “The Beauty of Words.”

Before Amos Oz could read the words themselves (by sounding our the letters), he learned to read by shapes!  Amazingly, he saw the words in a whole new way. The “S” in “Snake” looks like a snake. Similarly the “F” in “Flag” looks like a flag on a pole. Again, an “eye” looks like a pair of eyes with the bridge of a nose between them.

“Language arts” really is an art that is poetic in sound, meaningful in thought, and even beautiful to look at–no different than a work of art by Picasso or Mozart. 😉

@Bethesda Trolley Trail

You can walk for miles…

It’s quiet and green in a suburban setting.

Who’s that dummy?

Lovers come out here too.

Some graffiti tells you there is still the big city of Washington, D.C. nearby.

A little surveillance—the “I’s” have it!

ADT security plus some colorful wind adornments in front of the houses.

Park is good, but only until sunset.

Watch out, “old people” crossing (saw a deer too).

The whole trail runs between Rockville and Bethesda–see the French International School, The National Institute of Health, Suburban Hospital, houses, shopping, parks, and more.

Try not to get too lost in the fun of it all.  😉

Strategy, Strategery, Stratego

Strategy.jpeg

Like the all knowing eye…

Strategy is our way of trying to forge a coherent path ahead.

Of course, as humans, we are imperfect and don’t know what we don’t know.

But whether we call it strategy, strategery, or stratego, the goal is to have a method to our madness.

We can’t just rely on luck, gut, intuition, or subjective whim to get us wherever.

Having no strategy is brainless following or aimless wandering.

Strategy means your thinking ahead what you want to achieve and then at least trying your best to accomplish something.

Ample course corrections allowed and encouraged, as needed. 😉

Eye On Jacket

Eye

I took this photo of a women’s jacket with a big blue eye on on the back.

Thought this design was truly eye-catching!

Wonder how many women out there would actually wear something like this.

Is this alluring or freakish?

Got to love fashion, especially when it pushes the bounds and makes us take a second look or think about how cool is that.  😉

Security, In The Blink Of An Eye

Very short, but cool video of this spooky kinetic art that I took today.

It is by artist, Tim Tate and it’s called The Guardian.

We talked about putting this right in front of the door when you walk into the house.

Keeping an eye on things:

1) G-d

2) Spirits of our ancestors

3) Guards

4) Smith and Wesson

5) Dogs very hungry

6) Gates, doors, and other barriers

7) Surveillance cameras

8) Sensors and alarms

9) Traps and tripwires

10) This cool art piece

Hope you enjoy! 😉
