Just One Punch

This figurine is pretty funny to me.

It reminds of a childhood friend who was a fighter type.

Whenever somebody got on his nerves, he would bellow out in his machismo way:

I kill your whole family with one punch!

Honestly, it wasn’t all that scary a threat even as it echoed.

But it was comical when everyone else would mimic the saying at the slightest annoyance.

Kids are people too, wakadoo wakadoo!  😉

Camel In Thought

Love this little camel.

My daughter got this is Israel and displays it in the living room.

Sitting peacefully, looking upwards.

Colorful mosaic.

Jerusalem, its brand.

Amazing animals.

I wonder what he’s thinking.

Shave And A Haircut

I remember as a kid people would sing a jingle:

Shave and a haircut, dum dum.

This statue of the guy in the chair getting the shave and haircut is sort of nostalgic to me.

Always sort of relaxing to sit back and get cleaned up!

Especially the hot lather on your face in that reclining position.

Then of course, all is well until the gunslinger barges in and ruins everything. 😉

Color Me Different

Soldiers
I saw this restaurant and followed the color in to take this photo.

They had these multi-colored figurines lined up proudly on the ledge overlooking the tables and patrons.

Each was different, but also the same.

They had no faces, and were cut this way and that into segments of color (head, torso, butts, arms, legs, feet)…uniformity, but diversity.

They are low-tech, but reminded me of robots or toy soldiers, but without the guns–just standing in colorful attention ushering people in to sit and eat and enjoy. 😉
