Longest Hair

This woman had the longest hair I have ever seen.

No, not to the shoulders, not to the mid-back, not even to the tush.

This went almost all the way to the floor.

It reminded me more of a maim on a horse than of the typical hairdo of a person.

Anyway, this must be nasty to take care and keep clean.

Also, can’t imagine having that much hair pulling on my head all the time.

In Judaism, we say that hair is the crown of a person and it is something that especially women keep modestly when married.

So while hair is nice and beautiful, you can definitely have too much of even a good thing.  😉

Trump’s Uncanny Ability To Call A Horse A Horse

So President Trump has an uncanny ability to call something what it is and literally brand it that way.

After Stormy Daniels lost a recent lawsuit against Trump, he called her “Horseface.”

Not a nice term about people and things he doesn’t like.

But you know what when I looked at her, I could see what he saw.

And you know what, she will go down in the history books as Horseface.

Similarly, with many other brands Trump has bestowed on others:

“Crooked Hillary (Clinton)”

“Failing New York Times”

“Crazy Joe (Biden)”

“Criminal Enterprise (Clinton Foundation)”

“Save Your Energy Rex (Tillerson)”

“Countries That Rip Us Off (NATO)”

“Worst Deal Ever (Iran Nuclear Deal)”

“Losers, Thugs (Islamic State)”

“Fake News (CNN)”

“Pocahontas (Elizabeth Warren)”

“Cryin Chuck (Schumer)”

“Will Make America Weak Again (Nancy Pelosi)”

“Crazy Rants (Maxine Waters)”

“Rocket Man (Kim Jong-Un)”

“Doing Many Bad Things Behind Our Back (Iran)”

Again, I’m not condoning name-calling of any kind.

And words certainly do hurt.

However, Trump does seem to see things that are like, “Oh yeah!”

And once, he coins a term, it sticks!

Not that it’s right, but he has a genius to brand people and things.

What he sees and what he calls it, just like a branding iron, will stick with them forever.

Why?  Because a horse is a horse, especially once it gets called out. 😉

Indian Wedding Rocks

Loved seeing this amazing Indian wedding.

The rocking music, the beautiful colorful outfits, the pageantry, and the adorned white horse.

While this looked like a relatively small and intimate wedding–perhaps quality balances out quantity.

Although one of my good friends from India told me that he had 4,000!!! people at his wedding that was held in a stadium–I can barely even imagine how awesome that was.

So happy…all life should be great times like this. 😉

The Cello And The Horse

Cello and Horse
So this was a funny picture I took today at Foggy Bottom.

This guy in a shirt and tie is playing this awesome looking cello…

And sitting next to him is this other guy wearing a horse mask, rolling his head, and staring intently at the people passing by.

Behind them is a farmers market and in front to the left is someone selling beautiful flowers.

Overall, just another weird scene in the Nation’s capital.

Next up, the guy in the horse head plays the cello and everyone sings along and neighs. 😉

The Painted Sky

It was a beautiful walk in Rock Creek Park (even with my ongoing limp post surgery).

Coming down the trail, I saw this amazing horse with a mounted police officer, and he was nice enough to stop and let me pet the horse and take this photo with them.

It was a truly beautiful animal and it was so cool seeing them on patrol for all the people taking advantage of the great outdoors here.

In a fantasy type of way, I thought what a dream job (not high-tech, but oh so much in tune with nature and helping people)!

Anyway, this time of year, it was really lush green in the park and pretty peaceful.

It was also interesting today visiting my dad and sitting outside on the deck with him, he looks up at the sky and says rhetorically, yet so innocently, “Who painted the sky so beautiful?”

I thought wow–what an amazing and poetic way to think of the hand of G-d and all that he has created for our benefit.

Now, I think to myself outside, how our physical reality is just a manifestation of G-d’s artistry, imagination, and kindness, and it makes it all even better.
