Sit-Stand Computer Desk 1-2-3

This adjustable computer desk stand from Veridesk for sitting and standing is awesome.

Someone got this in the office, and it is the talk of the town.

It comes as one piece, no assembly required and you just place it under your computer–simple, easy!

Just push the handles on either side and the desk height adjusts variably up or down.

I found it on Amazon for just $325-$400 depending on the size and whether you have a double monitor.

My colleague at work said just try it and you will feel so good–this seems like a good healthy deal. 😉

Lauding Over A Toilet Brush?

Not sure about this video on the SimpleHuman Toilet Brush

On one hand, it’s funny to have such a serious video lauding the functionality and design of a toilet brush.

But on the other hand, the video is pretty darn convincing:

– Slim for easy placement and accessible for quick use.

– A magnetic collar for picking up the brush and housing with one hand–no messy spills.

– With a stainless steel rod for stability and durability.

– Specially innovative design crescent-shaped brush for those hard to reach areas under the rim.

– Easily detachable brush for when you need replacement.

– Comes in black and white–so fashionable.

Ok, so now I have to admit that I ordered one of these today.

I’ll let you know if it really works (Uh no!) 😉

Best Animated Shoes

Dragon Shoe Husband Wife Shoe
These are some very cool shoes–different!

My daughter found these on Youtube

They are made by this unboring shoe company in the U.K. called Irregular Choice.

Walking on the back of a dragon cannot be a bad thing.

Stepping alternatively on the bride and groom–maybe an interesting perspective on the ins and outs of marriage.

They also have a neat pair of Panda shoes.

Check these out, I think you’ll look cool and really like it. 😉

Yo Mama!

Ask Yo Mama 2
Thought this was cool.

This guy’s bright orange bag on the Metro this morning says:

“Hello My Name Is”

And he wrote in “Ask Yo MAMA!!”

How 1960s, yet very present day.

It also matches his orange and white hat and white BEATS earphones and orange coat.

It speaks volumes…I like it! 😉

Cool Cat Innovation

Cool Crayola Cat
This is pretty in pink, amazing.

Look closely at this cat.

The cat is made of full sticks of Crayola Crayons (literally).

The crayons are vertical–base down and point up.

It’s brilliant rather than using the crayons to draw, the artist used the crayons themselves to put together a colorful cat (I also saw he made a dog and a guitar like this).

Very creative…novel…a different way of thinking.

We need this cool cat thinking, and from everyone, to drive to solutions and for a brighter future–we can! 😉

The Painter

Painter
I love this picture of a painter that I took in Florida.

Each of the circles on the tree are part of his color palette.

He is standing on a ladder leaning against the tree, and reaching for the red paint.

It is so cool that the painter is part of the painting that he is making.

The integration of the person with his creative work–he is one with it!

I can practically feel the love of this person for what they do.

And IMHO, they are very good at it. 😉

Rosh Hashanah iPhone Greeting Card

Rosh Hashanah
I had to share this wonderful Rosh Hashanah greeting.

This was developed using Apple’s iPhone icons.

It is one great technology way to usher in the Jewish New Year of 5775.

Please G-d, let it be a wonderful year full of blessings! 😉

A WOW Wheelchair

A WOW Wheelchair

Absolutely loved the article and video in Bloomberg Businessweek on the Tankchair.

Brad Soden makes these amazing ruggedized wheelchairs for wounded veterans and other disabled people in need of getting around some rougher terrain.

They are customized for each user and cost about $15,000 each.

They are built on tank-like treads and can go up stairs, through fields, across streams, and over snow.

“Basically, it’s get off the couch and go enjoy life!”

They are tough and can last 15-20 years!

He first made one for his wife who was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident and was having difficulty keeping up on a family camping trip.

Soden is truly inspirational–he produces these not too make money, but too help people.

“The body can’t keep up, so we’re gonna fix it.”

This is an awesome man making an extreme machine. 😉
