Ilhan Omar – Laughing At Terrorism Against America

It’s time to stop defending this anti-American hate-monger who sits in the esteemed House of Representatives.

Omar’s words:

When I was in college, I took at terrorism class….we learned the ideology…Every time the professor said Al Qaeda, his shoulder went back {in intensity/fear}…We are laughing his name.

Watch her video here mocking Americans about terrorists, Al Qaeda–the same who killed 3,000 people on 9/11.

This is just one of many instances of her extreme callousness, like where she recently said casually about 9/11, “Some people did something“–that something which was a mass murder terror attack on American soil.

As we contemplate the hate-mongering of Ilhan Omar, we should think about what Luthern pastor, Martin Niemoller once cautioned:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

This isn’t about left and right, but about hatred, bigotry, and racism at the highest levels, and we need to stand together against it. 😉

Democrats and Anti-Semitism

Please see my new article in The Times of Israel, called “From Belgium To The Democratic Party.”

There are terrible anti-Semitic events happening in parallel in Europe and right here in America. This past week, Belgian hosted mocking and hateful caricatures of Orthodox Jews in their carnival procession. And right here in Washington, D.C., the Democratic Party made a complete farce of the handling of one of its own, anti-Semites, Rep. Ilhan Omar. Omar continues to vent her hared against Israel even going so far as to denounce its supporters as having “dual loyalty.”

It is so disheartening to see the Democratic party reverting back to its ugly days and roots of hate just like during/after the Civil War when they were the party of “opposition to civil and political rights for African Americans.”

The question is how far down this evil path will things go again?  😉

What The Pope Knows That Our Leadership Doesn’t

Crushed Trophy.jpeg

In response to the deluge of terrorist attacks across Europe, but also all around the world, culminating this week in the murder of an 85-year old Christian priest in France (his throat was slit in church by ISIS), the pope said the following:

The world is at war, because we have lost the peace.”

But at the same time, our leader is self-congratulating himself, declaring his next in line for the Pennsylvania Avenue throne, and mocking the daily terror threats we face, calling ISIS the “JV [junior varsity] team” declaring them “not an existential threat, and insisting “no boots on the ground.”

From the attacks on 9/11 to Orlando and Fort Hood, from the attacks on Charlie Hebdo to Paris and Nice, from the multiple attacks on Germany this past week to those in Belgium in March, from the Madrid train bombing in 2004 to the London bombing in 2005, to the daily terrorist attacks throughout the Holy Land of Israel, and the non-stop violent killing of  millions around the Arab countries of the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and beyond, I ask:

Why is the Pope better informed than our leadership, and who will fight for us? 😉

Please G-d In The Workplace

Lookign To Heaven.jpeg

So here is a true story that happened to me at work.

You know how you put on your “out of office message” in Microsoft Outlook when on leave…

Well, I was responsible and did just that.

My message was typical informing people that I was out, when I plan to return, and who to contact about urgent matters in my (brief) absence.

But something astonishing happened then…

I actually got a reply to my out of office message from an executive scolding me about it–imagine this being how government time is spent.

Yes and dun da da dum…here was my big offense to this senior executive, in my out of office message, I simply used the words “Please G-d,” as in:

“I am out of the office and plan to return, please G-d, on [such and such day and date].”

The message I received back in my inbox:

“I’m not sure what the ‘please G+d’ reference means. It’s a bit confusing. You may want to delete it.”

OMG, I was being admonished in the federal government for using the words “Please G-d” in my out of office message–for simply respecting and recognizing Him/Her.

– What is confusing about “Please G-d”?

– And how can anyone ask that I delete G-d from my message or in any way from my life???

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) states under religious discrimination and harassment that:

“Harassment, can include, for example offensive remarks about a person’s beliefs or religious practices.”

Further, “the law requires an employer or other covered entity to reasonably accommodate an employees religious beliefs and practices,” barring an undue burden.

What burden to the government was there in me saying, “please G-d.”

And why did I get back a mocking message spelling it this way, “G+d,” which I read as being a cross in the middle, mocking me as someone of Jewish belief.

Understand that I write the word G-d with a hyphen, because I was taught out of respect not to spell out ( or even say) G-d’s name in vain, which is the 3rd commandment in the biblical Ten Commandments.

The executive’s comments to me were not only extremely rude, offensive, and discriminatory, but also illegal.

It is outrageous that this type of behavior should be allowed to go on in 21st century America, let alone in the federal government itself that writes and enforces the law of the land–the land of the free and the home of the brave–read it, it’s in our national anthem and our constitution. 😉
