Two-Faced Monsters

2 Face.jpeg

One of the scariest things with people are when they are two-faced.

And no, we’re not talking about people making funny faces or googly eyes.

My father use to joke:

“If that person was two-faced, they would never use that face {the one they are wearing now}!”

But many people really do have two-faces (and sometimes more).

– The seeming friend, but backstabber if they get the chance.

– The “goodie two-shoes,” but what a real mischievous side to them.

– The “nice boy/girl,” but what an unbelievable mean streak.

– The calm, quiet person, but what an explosive temper they really have.

– The person who it seems “would never hurt a fly,” but what an abuser and bully they are.

This is not about multiple personality disorder, but rather people who either are truly this AND that, or who “fake it to make it.”

Many people do have multiple “normal” sides to their personality (like hardworking, but playful).

However, others more malevolently, use a cover up (and it’s not mascara) to hide their inner bad natures/behaviors and demons.

These are the people that are really scary dudes (and dudettes).

You see one thing on the surface (superficially), but beneath it is a type of molten lava ready to explode and do very bad things.

Sure, everyone alternates between good and bad days, happy and sad, more loving or less, etc.

But when people are fundamentally insincere phonies who are deceiving others until they can but strike and do bad things to them, then they are not just two-faced, but seriously f*cked up!

This is all part of the fight in this world of good over evil–it goes on everyday with the monsters out there that are allowed to roam free and prey on others–perhaps some of afraid or even others are covering for them.

How long can they keep up their heinous act?

Often way too long, until those good people of faith and conscience ask when will they be unmasked and held accountable–when will justice prevail. 😉

Graffiti Blood Fashion

graffiti-fashion-jpeg

Thought this was a really cool fashion design skirt that I saw in Neiman Marcus.

Aside from all the colors, the design is just eye-taking.

Almost like graffiti on a skirt!

Hey, I think that would make a great business for someone(s) by the way.

Give me a call…and we’ll start it up and make a $ billion–I hope!

Seriously, this skirt is so interesting with a scare theme of monsters, heart, teeth, and blood.

But the fright is quickly turned into envious fashion style as a complete standout item.

Gorgeous design and style, and I definitely see a fashion trend emerging here big time. 😉

Dastardly Bastards

Dastardly Bastards

I sit here this morning filled with indignation for the victims of a series of brutal monsters who have committed horrific acts against children (and adults).

Last week we had the horrible terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon which left 3 dead (including an innocent 8-year old boy), almost two hundred wounded, and13 people who lost limbs (including leg amputations below the knee of a husband and wife recently married just last August ).

Then yesterday, in the Wall Street Journal, two more news events about:

1) The raping of a 5-year old girl (YES, five) in India–4 months after the gang rape on the bus that left a young women tortured and dead. This 5-year old was beaten and raped and found screaming for help and in pain with devices left inside her! The suspect a 30-something man is left on the run.

2) The trial of a late-term abortion doctor, Kermit Gosnell, charged among other things with murdering 7 infants who SURVIVED (initially) abortions he performed. This doctor or staff is said to routinely “gouge the infant’s neck with scissors to sever the spinal cord” (a method he called “snipping”). His offices were a horror lab with “blood on the floor,” urine in the air, and “fetal remains haphazardly stored throughout the clinic–in bags, milk jugs, orange-juice cartons, and even in cat-food containers.” — This is one sick person!!

While there are many people who are good, what loose nut or evil inclination drives others to terrible inhumane acts is a question that haunts us throughout the ages.

I remember learning in Jewish day school that some people act worse than animals, because while a wild animal kills for food or to protect themselves, people kill and torture for the sake of it.

Leon Kass in the article on Gosnell points out from his readings that “as science [and technology] advances, morals don’t necessarily improve; [and moreover] that the opposite might well be the case” as people’s faith in science above all else and belief in materialism as a cure of all ills replaces belief in G-d and the true mission of our souls in life.

What punishment can these people get that will really fit their crimes–when the children are left snipped, beaten, raped, and dead?

Howie Mandel Was Right All Along

Wash_hands

This was a really funny picture I saw exhorting people to wash their hands.

If you don’t, this little green slime creature is going to come and get you.

It reminded me of the other day heading into the bathroom, and I see this guy coming the other way out of one of the Stalls.

He actually does head to the sink to the wash his hands–he’s in the minority in this country, I understand.

Well the sink is one of the automatic ones and has no faucets.

The guy sticks his hands underneath….nothing.

He starts waving his (dirty) hands…and still nothing.

After the third try…he throws his hands up, looks at me, and says, “Now that’s awkward” and proceeds to walk out the bathroom holding his hands literally at full arms length.

I hoped that he didn’t run into anyone he knows on the way and reached out to shake their hands–because they would’ve gotten a nasty surprise, indeed.

This sign tells it the way it is–sorry folks. 😉
