North Korea — No Deal!

This is sort of what I feel happened with North Korea and the U.S. at the Summit in Vietnam this week.

We went into this thinking that the enticement of moving from war to prosperity, like with Vietnam, would set the stage for North Korea to see that truly, peace is the answer!

But when there is no real trust between the people negotiating, then you get a lot of gesturing, but no real determination to make a commitment–like getting rid of those crazy nukes!

For now from North Korea’s perspective, “one in the nukes is worth two in the prosperity”…and they aren’t going to disarm so easily and give away what they consider their ace in the hole.

High hopes, lots of drama, confusion and blame, and ultimately a big let down.

If North Korea would give up their nukes, and Iran would give up their pursuit of nukes…WOW, WOW, WOW, oh what a world that would be. 😉

Assad’s Time Is Up

One year ago in April, the U.S. unleashed 59 cruise missiles on an air base in Syria that was involved in chemical attacks on civilians.

That was a warning message.

Today, the attacks against civilians, including the use of chemical weapons, continues in Syria unabated.

There are now over 500,000 killed in Syria.

That includes over 14,000 children killed by snipers, machine guns, grenades, IEDs, barrel bombs, gas attacks, and even torture and execution.

In 2016, almost 1,500 were killed in one chemical attack alone by the Assad regime.

Two weeks ago, Syria’s sponsor, Russia is accused of using the most deadly of chemical nerve agents to poison a former spy and his daughter in the UK.

It is high time for the U.S. to intervene and send a very definite message against the use of chemical weapons and indiscriminate killing and to take out Assad.

Assad is a ruthless dictator with the blood of innocents on his hands and his continued use of WMD flies in the face of civilized society and sets a tone where this or worse can and will be used in the future.

The U.S. needs to reset the bar on the use of these dangerous weapons by sending a clear message that those who use it indiscriminately will pay the ultimate price.

We already provided a warning message in April last year.

The Assad regime, Russia, axis of evil Iran, and Hezbollah terrorists all need to get the message from us loud and clear that red lines will not be crossed without paying a very serious price–and that all their efforts at expanding their malevolent reach across that region have been for naught.

Assad is the ultimate April Fool if he thinks that a cruise missile isn’t going to land on his head this time around and it will be very well-deserved indeed.

For all the civilians and children, and for all the future generations–the time is up. 😉

Easy Solution to Axis of Evil

Missile.jpeg

So there is an easy solution to the hellbent destruction of the Axis of Evil…

North Korea and Iran are sworn to the destruction of the U.S. and it’s allies.

Repeatedly, they sponsor global terrorism, abuse human rights, violate agreements against proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, conduct nuke tests, and missile launches.

Instead of destroying the missiles immediately upon launch or on the launchpad, which is a nice start…

Let’s just do this:

– When North Korea launches, let’s redirect the guidance system on the missile to Tehran.

– And when Iran launches their missiles, let’s redirect it toward Pyongyang.

We don’t have to fire a single volley.

Let the evil ones destroy each other and have a gangbusters time doing it. 😉

North Korea and Iran–No Time For Nuke Time

nukes.jpeg

We are at a unbelievably critical moment in history.

North Korea and Iran have nuclear weapons capability and are threatening and maniacal enough to use them.

Negotiations, incentives, and phony deals have led to nothing but advancing proliferation of weapons of mass destruction with our enemies and their continued vows to kill us.

As Iran vows to annihilate Israel and chants:

“Death to America”

North Korea vows a nuclear attack saying Washington will be:

“Engulfed in a sea of fire.”

The Talmud (Sanhedrin 72a) teaches the principle of self-defense:

“If someone rises up to kill you, kill him first.”

Preemption is justifiable if the threat is real and imminent.

North Korea and Iranian threats are very real and getting ever more imminent as their capabilities increase–and if anything, they have been underestimated and underreported.

They have continued to build and test nukes and the missiles to deliver them to the U.S. and our allies, despite pleas as well as carrots and sticks to cease their menacing actions.

The prior administration’s position of “strategic patience” has meant nothing but indecision and a do nothing approach as things get worse and not better.

Now, we have the opportunity to destroy the deadly nuke sites before these despotic regimes hit us and our population of nearly 320 million people with a nuke first strategy!

We are a peaceful nation that believes deeply in freedom and human rights, but we cannot live under constant threat of nuclear attack on our cities and allies.

A preemptive strike is a very, very serious decision, but we cannot wait indefinitely and let ourselves become victims of the most horrific weapons and their destructive capabilities and aftermath.

What do we do if North Korea and Iran refuse their endless pursuit weapons of mass destruction and their threats to use them on us?

Perhaps, this is soon to be a rhetorical question if not the most dire of all decisions to make and the time to make them.

May G-d have mercy  on us–if ever their was a time, now is the time to pray and mean it.  😉

Fooling The Media And The American People

Lies.jpeg.JPG

So finally the truth got spilled about the true rationale for the Iran deal that lifted critical nuke weapon sanctions on the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism and human rights abuses.

The advisor to the President has admitted to essentially lying and manipulating the media to seal the deal

The narrative of a Nuke deal with a “moderate” Iranian President Rouhani at the expense of hardliners was “deliberately misleading.”

Mr. Rhodes brags about keeping Mr. Obama’s long-standing plan to elevate Iran over allies such as Israel and the Gulf States hidden from the public by manipulating liberal journalists and think tank analysts.

So what was once touted as a “good day” for America is now quite malevolent and disheartening, indeed.

Moreover, rather than a “new political reality” with Iran, we have ongoing and increasingly hostile Iranian actions against the U.S., leading to the House Intelligence Committee opening an investigation into how Congress and the American public were misled by the administration on Iran.

What happened to the promised transparency and truth espoused for the American people? What of Abraham Lincoln’s sacred and compelling vision of a “government of the people, by the people, for the people.”

Now instead of earnest dialogue, we get a blowharded retail[ing]” of a predefined manipulated narrative–a “far-reaching spin campaign“–for the simple media “echo chamber and hungry public consumption.

Iran has won a big round at the expense of Democracy and as we now know our National Security.

Maybe the worst part is that no one even seems to care, because we’re now in a new election cycle for the next President (and possibly chief manipulator). 😉

What’s So Funny About Non-Proliferation?

Here’s what they are saying online in some satire on the Iranian Nuke WMD Deal.

The Spanish comedian is talking about something else (I don’t know what), but the subtitles were dubbed to make the points about the issues with this deal.

No disrespect intended to anyone, but the points illustrated are well made.

Is this how we want the world to view us?

We are hoping and praying for a real and verifiable peace.

The “Real” Reason For The Iran Deal

Bride and Groom

So I’ve been giving this a lot of thought…

Why would the United States make a bad deal with Iran?

– Where Iran gets to keep their nuke infrastructure.

– Where they get restrictions for a mere 10-15 years and then presumably get the coveted BOMB.

– Where “managed access” for inspections has a ridiculous 24 days waiting time.

– Where the arms and ballistic missile embargo is lifted.

– Where Iran gets a windfall of $150 billion released to them for which they acknowledge they will tap for use to support terror worldwide.

– Where Iran’s leadership continues to chant “Death To America,” burn our flag and President in effigy, hold Americans hostage, threaten us, and insist that their hatred and fight against us will go on.

Are we going crazy?

No, there is actually a rational reason for all this.

So what’s the reason–let me explain from my simple-minded thinking about all this (follow carefully)?

Iran is a Shiite nation.

Shiite’s make up only a small percentage of the Islamic world around 15% (or 200 million).

However, the Sunnis make up the other 1 billion Muslims.

The Sunnis are moving through terrorist movements such as ISIS, Al Qaeda,  Boko Haram, Hamas and more to create a Sunni Caliphate throughout the Middle East and North Africa (and maybe beyond).

The Western world fears the terror and destruction that can come about from a Sunni Caliphate

Also, on 9/11, The U.S. was attacked by Al Qaeda (Sunnis) and where 15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia (a Sunni Country).

The answer is the enemy of my enemy is my friend…Iran.

Iran is the largest Shiite Country with it’s own ambitions for a Shiite Caliphate.

Arming and funding Iran is a bulwark against the predominant Sunnis and their ambitions for power and hegemony.

Notably, guess what?  Iraq is another country with a large Shiite population, like Iran.

Hence, this is why the U.S. went into Iraq to dethrone Saddam Hussein, a Sunni, who was holding power over the Shiite population–now the Shiites there are in power.

Voila, Shiites in Iran and neighboring Iraq empowered to fight Sunnis.

They mostly terrorize and murder each other instead of seriously battling the West.

Since 9/11, there has not been a major terrorist attack on the U.S.

And if Iran is on the road to the Bomb, and this sparks a nuclear arms race in the Middle East with Saudi Arabia etc., perhaps the thinking…maybe that’s not such a bad thing after all.

Unfortunately, Israel who is threatened by a nuclear-armed Iran who explicitly wants to “annihilate” them is caught in the middle of all this.

But the West is more concerned with the Sunnis and Shiites battling it out, then with the fate of Israel, who we figure can be placated with some “compensation” armaments to protect themselves.

But is that enough for a country where one nuclear missile hit can mean a second Holocaust?

I am not a conspiracy theorist and never have been.

But this seems too easy. 😉

Dancing With The Devil

Never Again
In negotiating an agreement with the West, Iran is masterfully eking out concessions, while we are threatened with the potential for another Holocaust:

– No more answering questions about their past nuclear WMD activities.

– No more gradual sanctions relief.

– No more giving up all their spinning centrifuges.

– No more anywhere, anytime inspections of suspicious military sites.

Actually, this is all quite amazing!

And at the same time as Iran doesn’t give a real inch toward what the West wants, their negotiators are now throwing in yet more of what they want and that includes doubling their oil sales immediately and the removal of the arms and ballistic missile embargo.

Hey, if you are the Iranians in the negotiations–ask and ye shall receive.

But what about what we should be asking for, but are not:

1) Iran needs to give up and dismantle their infrastructure for producing nuclear weapons–ALL of it, period.  Isn’t it obvious that Iran having nukes is inevitable if they are allowed to continue to be permitted to have some nuke capability in plain sight and the rest conducted in hiding out of our limited inspections purview?

2) Iran must cease being the leading state sponsor of terrorism world-wide or for that matter any sponsor of terrorism–that is not how civilized nations behave! How can Iran be trusted on any nuke agreement as long as they continue to murder and terrorize innocents just as part of what they do. Just as an example, does anyone remember the 242 U.S. Marines killed in the Beirut barracks bombing. What happened to “We don’t negotiate with terrorists”?

3) Iran cannot continue their overt hatred of the West, while pretending to negotiate an end to sanctions. Chanting “Death to America” (and Israel), burning our flag and our President in effigy, calling us their worst enemy, and threatening to attack and annihilate them is not in spirit of negotiating an agreement, is it? Again, where is foundation for trust here to even make an agreement?

4) Iran can’t deny the truth of the Holocaust and the murder of six million innocent Jewish people in the most cruel ways just 70 years ago and simultaneously sit at the table today with world leaders in suits and ties and smiles, pretending to make a verifiable agreement that means anything.

While we all want true world peace, this leopard has not at all changed its stripes.

The words “Never Again” are not just an empty saying, but rather they are a commitment that all good and decent people must take upon themselves to ensure that hatred, terror, and evil are no longer permitted in the league of civilized nations.

The devil always presents himself in an appealing way, but as history has shown over and over again, he never fails to hurt those who try to appease him.

May G-d guide the leaders of this great nation with wisdom and to see those with whom they negotiate for who they really are–and may a true peace reign in our times.

Please Don’t Shoot Our Ally

Don't Shoot

So it is incredible how backward our current political situation is.

Get this…

When Israel was ready this past year to take out the Iran Nukes, who stopped them?

No, not the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

No, not any of the other Arab states or terror groups.

No, not Russia.

But rather, our President is reported to have threatened to literally “shoot down Israeli fighter jets” (those of our “Major Strategic Ally”) if they attempted to take out Iran’s nuclear facilities.

This at the same time that he is desperately seeking an agreement with Axis of Evil, Iran, who continues to threaten Israel and what Iran calls, “The Great Satan,” America.

While these “negotiations” are going into the home stretch (with one extension after another)…

– Iran destroyed a mock Nimitz class U.S. aircraft carrier in a missile attack, just last week.

– A senior Iranian cleric threatened our executive branch and vowed to “raise the flag of Islam over the White House.

– In Iran,”Obama is being hung in effigy and the U.S. flag being burnt in Tehran.”

Are these the actions of a nation that the U.S. can trust to make an agreement with on nuclear weapons of mass destruction OR is this a deal with the devil?

As one Arab official stated: “We prefer a collapse of the diplomatic process to a bad deal.”

Why is this administration turning on Israel and our Arab allies and desperately pursuing a deal, “making ever more concessions” to the ever dangerous Iranian regime.

As Putin is alleged to have had Russian opposition leader, Boris Nemtsov killed last week, one has to wonder what is going on in our own backyard here in America, with worse yet, purported threats to shoot at our ally Israel.

G-d should give our leaders the wisdom to discern our allies from our foes, to treat them accordingly, and to secure a genuine peace with security.
