Baby Shower Centerpiece

What a cool centerpiece for a colleague’s baby shower.

All those rolled up and tiered diapers and baby toys.ย

Creative and fun-looking and the couple having the baby gets to keep all the goodies and put them to good use hopefully.

Nice to celebrate even with smelly diapers to be. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Party Balloons!

Now those are some party balloons!

Really, they are part of an exhibit from the Hirshhorn Museum.

But boy do they make a statement.

Big, pink, and with polka dots.

They are the king of the party. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Story About Dressing Modestly

One of my good friends told me a funny story.

The friend of his daughter was wearing one of those cropped shirts which expose the belly.

She said that her dad told her to throw a party for her clothes, so that her shirt could meet her shorts.

I guess all dads worry about the modesty of their daughters.

This was a good tznius story that hammers home the point and is also pretty funny. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Celebrating The Holidays

This holiday outfit has got to win an award.ย

The matching suit and tie with all the decorative holiday ornaments.ย

The bright red shirt.ย

The tree hat with the star on top.

And the dark glasses.ย

Wow, standout city!

Where do you get clothing like this?

I wonder if I could do this with a menorah too. LOL

Happy Holidays to all.ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Holiday Earrings With Pizazz

These holiday earrings have loads of pizazz.

Watch them flash red from ear to ear!

The funny thing is no one else even notices.ย

What an awesome holiday fashion statement from The Nation’s Capital. ๐Ÿ˜‰

An Alarm Clock – My Gag Gift

So we had our holiday party today, and guess what I got?

Yes, a Sharp Twin Bell Alarm Clock!

Of course, with each gag gift came a mini-speech by some of the managers as why they choose this gift for you.

So of course, I amย consistentlyย the first one in every morning and the person who opens up for everyone else–reliable, dependable, and hard-working Andy! ๐Ÿ™‚

Some of my other colleagues got a hula hoop, a toy toolkit, a mini teapot, a little school bus, coffee mugs with funny sayings, a rock and roll trophy, mini boxing gloves, stuffed pillows with smileys, and more.ย

Each came with its own unique story.

Pizza, beer, and bowling were part of the festivities.ย

It’s nice when people appreciate each other and can have some fun.ย

Thanks for the holiday party and the alarm clock.ย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Wine Makes Me Smile

What a great labeling of this bottle of wine.ย

Just a big simple smiley face on it!

After I saw this bottle in the store, I just had to take a picture and also look this up on the internet.ย

It’s part of theย “SMILE”ย wine campaign fromย Lindeman’s Wines.

Apparently each limited edition bottle reminds you of something that we have to smile about: “family get-togethers,” “discovering new places,” and “randoms acts of kindness.”

Wow, I love this idea.ย ย

Wine makes you smile, but so do these wonderful things in life.ย

And it’s not just showing/associating the product with something positive (like beer and soda commercials always do), but it’s making the product itself smile at you!

I think this is a really smart marketing campaign.

Also, the cute smiley face on the bottle would make this the life of the party.ย

Great job Lindemans–I’m smiling. ๐Ÿ˜‰

A Cherry Tomato B4 Your Pie

So this was funny at our work social hour today.ย

The person organizing it brought in snack foods–pretzels, cookies, chocolates, and apple pie.ย

Of course, there were also some token vegetables and dip.ย

So as you’d expect with all the junk food on the table, no one was eating the vegetables.

So one colleague goes:

Eat a cherry tomato and then you can have some pie.

The response from you know who was:

Ah, if you want us to eat a tomatoย then you better just put it inside the pie!

By the end, there was no more pie, but there sure were a lot of leftover cherry tomatoes. ๐Ÿ˜‰
