Upside Down Flower On Stairs

Thought this was an interesting picture to take.

It’s an upside-down pink flower bent over a concrete stair.

And the stem is sticking straight up and out.

The contrast of the live soft pink flower and the cold hard grey of the concrete stairs is astounding to me.

Life can so easily be bent over, squished out, and left for dead in the cold harsh realities of this world

We are alive, but life can be hard.

We fight to go on, but life is sometimes unforgiving.

The bright spark of life seeks to illuminate the hard grey block.

Breath, beat, live…good health is unbelievably precious.

Arise flower and once again stand tall in the glowing sunshine and the pouring rain.

Nourish yourself in the soil of the Earth, give praise to the L-rd as only life can do. 😉

The Nicest Blossoms Ever

So I almost never do this.

Posting about the same thing twice in a short period.

But this is an exception.

The Cherry Blossoms this year are the nicest I have ever seen them.

Hopefully, this is a sign of blessings from G-d.

The world is blossoming and hopefully so is our fortune.

May G-d have mercy on the good people. 😉

I Love Cherry Blossoms

Just wanted to take today to express my undying love for Cherry Blossoms.

How unbelievably magnificent they are.

Pink pedals blossoming and beautiful.

G-d’s creations in nature that make us in awe of his majesty.

It is almost too gorgeous to be real.

To look up at these is more beautiful than I can possibly have words for.

Thank you G-d for giving these to us every Spring season.

It is truly something to look forward to each year and that which nourishes our souls with a complete array of sensory joy. 😉

Going Bonkers For Pink

Excited.jpeg

Picking Them Out.jpeg

Pay The Meter.JPeG

So is this the power of sexuality or branding?

1. Head first for the lingerie sale

2. Picking out pink for that special someone.

3. Forgetting to pay the meter.

All three of these made us laugh.

People are a combination of spiritual and physical beings.

Sometimes the physical takes over and that’s when the problems start happening!  😉

Her Hair Was A Hoot

Orange Hair.jpeg

No offense intended, but not going to miss this lady in a crowd.

Orange-hot pink hair, a zebra shirt, big black-rimmed glasses, and a wild bag with dozens of pins all over it.

It was also funny that the sign over her head says, “Orange” to match this lady’s hair.

My childhood friends would probably call this a “Hair Don’t” like a hairdo, only don’t do it!

Sometimes, you have to wonder what people are thinking.

It’s nice to get attention, if it’s attention worth getting. 😉

Who’s Getting The Attention Now?

Pink Shoes and Socks

I took this photo of this couple online in Starbucks this morning.

It was very hard not to notice this guy’s sneakers and socks (on the left).

Hot pink sneakers with matching Homer Simpson pink socks.

I thought to myself that you’ve got to be pretty bold to go out and wear that.

It’s funny how people love attention, and often it seems like they will say, wear, and act any which way they have to in order to get it.

Maybe (good) attention is like currency:

– It’s valuable when your noticed (you become instantaneously cool, one to follow, maybe gets into the school or job you always wanted, oh and don’t forget all the likes on Facebook or the paparazzi).

– It feels good to have some (who wants to be ignored or looked down on? Positive attention is like an addictive drug to many people).

– You can trade attention with others (they give you some and you give them some–it’s like rubbing each others backs, but in this case it’s your egos instead).

– Perhaps, you can even save some up in the (memory) bank (where people remember what a great gal or guy you are).

Think about what do you do to get attention and is it something you are proud of or are you acting a little mischievous, naughty, and outlandish to get it?

Cool Cat Innovation

Cool Crayola Cat
This is pretty in pink, amazing.

Look closely at this cat.

The cat is made of full sticks of Crayola Crayons (literally).

The crayons are vertical–base down and point up.

It’s brilliant rather than using the crayons to draw, the artist used the crayons themselves to put together a colorful cat (I also saw he made a dog and a guitar like this).

Very creative…novel…a different way of thinking.

We need this cool cat thinking, and from everyone, to drive to solutions and for a brighter future–we can! 😉

That 70’s Chandelier

Chandelier
So what can I say…I like this crazy pink 70’s chandelier.

It is not traditional, certainly.

But it is colorful, cool, and happy.

It needs the right furniture and wall accessories so as not to look cheap.

Feminine trendy and hippie nostalgia come together to light up the place.

Definitely not for everyone, but it’s distinctive and makes you look–and that’s the point. 😉
