Happy Holidays!

I just had to share this photo.

Took this in South Florida this week.

These two guys from Sweden sitting at the pool wearing these Christmas tree hats.

This was just too great to pass up.

As I took the photo, one guy gave me the thumbs up and this was just perfect.

I don’t know about you, but they cheered me up even when it seems that the world is otherwise going crazy–in so many ways.

– Politics

– Divisiveness

– Hate

– Fighting

– Injustices

– Suffering

But at the end of the day, it’s about the people–and G-d gives us the power to do good and make happy (or vice versa).

This one made me happy!  😉

Gucci Shoes WOW!

So we’re down in Florida.

It’s pouring today, so we decide to go to Sawgrass Mills Mall.

When the rain let’s up, we decide to go outside to this one row of stores that is like designer row.

We went into Robert Graham, Ralph Lauren (the purple label), Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Gucci, and more.

We saw this nice Chasidic couple in Gucci.

He looked at me and me and him–he was buying his wife a gift and I was “window shopping” and taking some cool photos.

We gave each other the thumbs up.

The shoe here was from the Gucci store.

Pretty incredible, no?

It’s definitely a brand standout!

Nice job Gucci designers. 😉

Attitudinal Fix

Good

So attitude goes a long way in shaping how we do in life.

For some people, the glass is half full, and for others it’s half empty–it’s of course, just how you look at it.

One colleague told me this week:

Life is 10% what happens

and

90% how you react to it.”

I suppose we see that with so many people who have unbelievable daunting challenges in life, yet somehow they manage to put on a smile or give a thumbs up regardless, and just do what they need to do–they are troopers, survivors, and generally people of incredible character and caliber.

These are the heroes that we can look up to.

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going!”–and the going refers to doing what needs to get done, and not running away from your duty scared or not knowing what to do.

Need to be courageous, resourceful, loyal, and giving to others.

Stop the whining, the crying, the self pity, the questioning “why me”–what will any of that help?

Fight, fight, fight–that’s what we’re here for.

Until our last breath, we can still make a difference. 😉
