My Merkava

Ah, it finally came.

My new wall hanging of a Merkava IV tank.

This is a large 47×36 photo print on aluminum and weights about 8 pounds.

I have it hanging proudly in my home.

To me, this is absolutely beautiful.

And did I say, I love it!  😉

Hope You Had A Good “Veek”

So I was asked do you spell week with a “W” or a “V.”

I guess sometimes it does sound like we say veek.

Someone else told me that they are divorced and that person is still a “dark force” in their life.

They said they have to pay child support but can’t afford it.

It’s not like I still earn $55,000 like I used to.

But if they don’t pay…

Well my ex will just refuse to let me see my son!

People have tough lives.

So when you think about your week, hopefully in context, you can resolutely say that you had a good veek.

Shabbat Shalom! 😉

Happy Mr. Smiley Rock

Happy Mr. Smiley Rock

Remember the Pet Rock–someone made millions of dollars selling lonely people a rock with instructions for care.

Playing around on the computer this evening, I crafted a new character.

Meet Mr. Smiley Rock.

He tough as a rock, handsome with his lovely hair, and dashing with a smile that’s ear to ear.

I started with a picture of a rock that I noticed when hiking.

The rock had leaves at the top that made it look like hair to me (I know crazy, huh).

I thought to myself take the photo and then when I am back, I can just add a smiley face and voila–it’ll come alive.

I found this cute smiley face balloon online and created this mashup.

I showed it to my wife who gave it her expert blessing.

Now, I share it for your enjoyment and critique.

Hey, what are weekends for if not a little fun and creativity?
