Salad and Falafel

Continuing the healthy eating trend.

This was delicious salad and falafel with tzatziki sauce and Italian dressing.

It was so fresh and good.

Honestly, I wanted to eat more of this.

Who needs all the junk foods.

This looks good, tastes good, and is good for you!  😉

Tuna Salad – Eating Healthy

Intermittent fasting is going, thank G-d well.

When I broke my fast today, I had a healthy salad with tuna fish.

Dieting and eating healthy, and feeling good about it!

All the processed food is completely addictive and 100% poison!

Broke the addiction and I don’t plan to go back to the corrupt food industry fools that don’t care for atom about the people, but rather just the profits.

Fruit, vegetables fish, nuts, seeds, and tea.

The fleecing of America by all the processed food players–it’s disgusting.

I’m detoxing and I am grateful to G-d for helping me through this and showing me the way! 😉

Cold-Press Fruits and Veggies

We starting watching this movie with Joe Cross called, “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead.”

This guy weighs a ton and goes on a 60-day all juicing diet.

He stops all the food and just carries his juicer with him everywhere making fresh fruit and vegetable cold-press.

While obviously a little extreme, I like the idea of reducing the food intake (especially everything gluten which is death itself), and replacing it with healthy juice.

I tried one of the super green juices and it literally tasted like eating grass.

Uh, that’s not gonna realistically work for me.

So I settled on Evolution’s Organic Super Fruit Greens that has a combination of orange, mango, pineapple, cucumber, spinach, romaine, and kale.

I actually like it and am sitting here sipping on one as I write this blog post.

I went into the fridge and threw all the carbs in the freakin garbage–good riddance!

Gotta get and stay healthy!  😉

Beautiful Tutim

Love these strawberries (i.e. Tutim) from Israel.

(Hebrew classes are paying off…)

Large, red, and sweet to eat.

They look so appealing and delicious.

G-d’s beautiful fruits (and vegetables).

What an amazing world He has created for us. 😉

Walmart Ain’t Got Nothing On The Shuk

The Shuk (Marketplace) in Jerusalem is one of the most exciting and affordable shopping experiences.

Vendor after vendor.

Row after row.

Items stocked high for the taking and eating.

From the most delicious foods to Judaica items.

Fresh-baked breads and gooey chocolatey pastries.

Halvah and baklava!

Fruits and vegetables.

Spices, olives, figs, and dates.

Fish and meat.

Nuts, cheeses, and wines.

Candy, coffee, and slushes.

Hamburgers and falafel.

Virtually endless.

Dizzying in a good way from all the people and products.

Like the old times, but anew.

So much life and you never know what you’ll find.

It’s exciting in a way that big box Walmart will never be. 😉

Indian Food All You Can Eat–Is That A Good Thing?

Indian Food

So after we couldn’t find the Amazing Maze today, we went to this all you can eat buffet of Indian food.

Nice, clean place…

Food is set out finely in metal trays over burners.

My wife says, “What a bargain!”

The problem is I can only eat vegetables, and it’s all the heavy Indian type.

I am a good boy with the diet–NO carbs–and pass on the pastry fried samosas, the hot leavened nan, the thin stir-fried noodles, and even on the quality orange basmati rice.

What’s left for me on my plate?

– Chick peas and sauce.

– Green peas and sauce.

– Eggplant and sauce.

– Creamy saucy spinach, just a tad.

– Sweet finely-chopped mushy carrot halava.

Each wasn’t bad, but wait this isn’t balanced–lots of mushy veggies in a superbly gross buttery way–all sort of just swooshing around without any substance food to soak it up.

I need a Starbucks or sugar Coke to wash this all down and away–not enough time though…

Oh G-d, I want to make a big Indian buffet puke (even technology can’t save me from this)! 😉
