Lipstick On A Dog

Interesting business card for Dog Walkers. 

Not sure what they mean by:

Not just a lipstick visit

I’ve heard of lipstick on a pig, but never on a dog! 

Playing dress up with a dog? 

As they say, only in America. 😉

Superhero Dress

This dress was a standout. 

Superhero dress by D&G. 

Comic style with the pow and bam!

I don’t get the pig superhero logo on the ugly green jacket and other similar merchandise next to it. 

Uh, who wants to wear and look like a pig?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  

D&G is off the deep end. 😉

Weird Face Bag

This bag is too weird.

Not a man and not an animal–it’s some sort of beast. 

It has a crazy face on it with a gnarly mouth and green bug-eyes.

Is it watching for pickpockets?

Wonder if it bites the hand that tries to go inside the purse. 

I can’t look at this thing anymore. 

Make it go away! 😉

Long Nails

Ran into this lady in South Florida. 

Couldn’t help but notice the nails. 

She told me she’s been growing them like this for 29 years!

I asked if she had any difficulty typing, driving, or anything. 

And she told me she does everything with them.

No, I don’t think that I want to touch these things. 

I’m only getting as close as the camera. 😉

Square Trees

So I never saw square trees until I visited Palm Beach, Florida. 

What’s the saying:

“It’s hip to be square!”

I definitely had to take a doubletake when I saw these. 

Wherever we were going, I was gonna stop and get a photo of this. 

These trees are almost as if they are from another planet. 

What planet would have square trees?

Nice Chompers

So this was funny-weird at the dentist. 

The dental hygienist comes in and does the cleaning.

Ultrasonic cleaner, scraping, polishing, flossing, rinse–all sort of routine. 

Next the dentist comes in–looks this side, that side, bite, bite again, looks some more. 

Then sort of out of the blue, the dentist goes to me:

“You got some nice chompers!”

Ah, never quite heard anyone say that before or quite the way this dentist said it.

Uh, a little strange sounding and feeling a little uncomfortable. 

I go out and tell me wife about this weird thing. 

And I start laughing and going…

“Doctor, you got some nice chompers there too!”

Somehow the way I said it, we both cracked up laughing. 

I’ll never think of going to get my teeth cleaned at the dentist quite the same way again. 😉

Bricks And Chips

This was quite interesting in the local food store. 

There in the aisle are shelves full of chips to eat. 

On this shelf were Stacy’s Pita Crisps–5 Cheese Flavor…doesn’t sound too bad.

But next to the chips, on the same shelf, was a brick…yes, literally a solid brick wrapped in cellophane…why to keep it fresh!

Who would wrap a brick in cellophane and put it out among the other foods to eat???

Maybe the chocolate custard-filled donuts got stale–very stale–and turned into a brick. 

So even the cellophane wrapping couldn’t keep it fresh.

Never buy baked goods wrapped in cellophane…you already know they are old(ish) and who knows it could be turning into a stale brick. 😉

Smokem Peace Pipe

So we are almost all settled in our new place (now about 2 1/2 months)…

And in the kitchen, I am re-organizing one of the top cabinets. 

I reach in the very back, and I feel something all the way in the corner. 

I pick it up and pull it out, and it’s this really weird looking smelly pipe. 

The pipe has a face on it and a blue and red stone above and below it. 

My wife says it looks like a peace pipe, although I’ve never really seen one of those before. 

There are no feathers or pictures of Indians on it, just this crazy-face staring up with crooked teeth and a big schnoz. 

Did someone actually smoke this thing? 

Ick, washed my hands like 3 times. 

Left it on the counter to show the rest of the family.

Throw that G-d darn thing out!

Dirty smokem peace pipe with ugly face heading down the garbage chute–wonder if I should’ve sold it on ebay. 😉

Strange Leggings

Took this photo in the mall of this very strange looking pair of leggings. 

Sort of an ancient Egyptian style complete with princess, gold, and a cast of phony “G-ds”–sun, falcon, tiger, and more.  

Not sure who would actually wear these, but all the power to them. 

They are made so you “Walk like An Egyptian“–Go Bangles!

The Graffiti Car

So you like your car with a little Graffiti?

Someone here did…it’s covered bumper to bumper!

Wonder if this car also is one of those self-driving cars…so it’s real special inside and out.

This car can be yours if the Price is Right…no that’s a different show. 

Anyway, another day of more zany antics and styles coming to you from Washington, D.C. 😉
