This pup has the life.
Pink car.
Vanity license plate.
And a smoothie in the cup for breakfast.
Lifestyles of the rich and famous…
While the homeless are sleeping in the gutters! ๐

Big yachts usually mean big mansions too, and that is certainly true here in Florida.
Often it means multiple mansions across states or even in different countries.
In one case, we saw two mansions demolished to build an even bigger single mansion in their place.
All the while others are going homeless and are having difficulty making ends meet.
The last boat isn’t a yacht per se, but I like the ocean blue color!

What can one really say about Baltimore?
It’s a city in gross decay and it needs help.
“This land is your land. This land is my land.”
This land needs a serious helping hand.
A wealthy country where “the roads are paved in gold.”
But the inner cities are crying out in poverty, crime, and neglect. ๐

It feels like there are almost more choices here for a birdhouse then variations in dwellings you can buy.
Even if it just a little paint; sometimes that can make all the difference.
Frankly, it’s not even that important how big or small, just as long as you have a decent roof over your head.
In our crazy world, we can have a birdhouse for every bird, but still we don’t have homes for every person.
Homelessness and poverty, whatever your race, color, or identity is still a big problem.
Birds live in birdhouses, but many people still live on the streets. ๐

This was a great big Buddha by the cashier in the vegetarian restaurant.
He is, so to say, “fat and happy” (come on you can’t miss that belly)!
I think that’s the message the eatery is trying to get across.
The only problem is that fat does not make happy; it just makes you want to lose weight.
Then again, no really hungry person was ever that happy either. ๐

This is an artistic bike in Washington, D.C.
Like a newspaper, it’s black and white and “read” or actually rode all over.
How much time do you give a bike like this before it gets stolen on the streets downtown?
D.C. seems to be gettingย even worseย than before, now with Coronavirus and the riots. ย
Doesn’t feel safe, and it’s in definite need of an urban makeover from all the horrible poverty and homelessness.ย ๐

I know in the olden days they would chop off people’s hands for stealing.
But this sign in a modern day store in America seemed just a little severe:
Shoplifters will be amputated
The worst part of it maybe is that they don’t say what part of the shoplifter will be amputated.
So much for compassion and helping the needy.
L-rd have mercy! ๐
