Sharing the road with this rather large lizard in Fort Lauderdale.
He ran right across my path, and when I say run, he can really run.
Then he stopped on the side of the peer.
I snapped this photo.
But as I got closer, he jumped (flew) into the water and swam quickly away.
Would NOT want to fall into the water and run into this guy in there. 😉

Imagine running into these farmers.
They are a perfect couple.
Look like brother and sister.
In the dark, with a flashlight on their faces, I think I’d take some fright.
And the pitchfork would give me a sharp little pause as well. 😉

What was really weird was that the advertisement on the side of the car was for a personal injury lawyer.
Hopefully, the person(s) in the car came out okay and didn’t need to call the “hurtline” listed. 😉

It’s a city in gross decay and it needs help.
“This land is your land. This land is my land.”
This land needs a serious helping hand.
A wealthy country where “the roads are paved in gold.”
But the inner cities are crying out in poverty, crime, and neglect. 😉
