Hearts and Stones

I love the saying by Rav Zvi Yehudah Cook:

There are people with hearts of stone, and there are stones with hearts of people.

The people know who they are, and the stones reside where has G-d set them.

In the final redemption, the peoples’ hearts will turn back to Hashem and the stones with hearts will rebuild the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. 😉

Poverty Stinks

Poverty.jpeg

A lady dropped these placards around on the Metro yesterday with a little pack of tissues.

It says:

“Hi, I have 2 kids and I’m a single mother and I have no job. If you can please help me for food and for rent. G-d bless you. Thank you.”

It is heart-wrenching, the poverty!

People without food or shelter.

Many without medicine and proper clothing.

Basic things that most of us take for granted.

It takes so little for everything to go to sh*t.

Both individually and also societally.

The world can be a cruel, cruel place.

But people can open their hearts and wallets to help others.

Also, advocate for people that are less fortunate.

Imagine G-d looking down and what does he see from us. 😉

Lucky Earrings

Lucky Earrings
My daughter found these lucky European earrings today from France.

– Queen of diamond playing cards

– Roll of the dice take your chance

– Lucky in love hearts

– Spicy green lucky charm hot peppers

Reminds me of something a colleague told me the other day about when your ears ring…it’s right for love, and left for spite.

Anyway, thought this was pretty good luck just finding these special earrings. 😉
